  1. Also:
    – DON’T use flashpods against a monster while it’s mounted
    – DON’T spam arc shot/sticky/cluster ammo shots in multiplayer
    – DON’T attack the head if there’s a hammer or HH in the party
    – Press Select (PS4) to skip the long overhead shot of the monster when he’s been killed/captured, this gives you more time to carve. You can also skip the cutscenes for eating and the smithy the same way.

  2. Sense I gave it a thumbs down I say one useful tip: when the monster is at 30% health it will drop a pod when at 25%/limping it will drop another then for the third drop it is at 10% health. There you go and no offense I love this guys vids but…

  3. Even more advanced tips about those loadout menus. When you change your loadout in the item box, it sets your radial menus, which for me got me killed a few times when I would make a change to it, and then hit the loadout to restock my items, only to find my radial menu changes had reverted. The same thing happens with armor and decorations later in the game, and you can find your decorations set reverted even though the armor piece had been changed (it also saves colors as well).

  4. I like to play my FPS with a high sensitivity, if you go to the camera tab in the options menu you can change the speed of the camera and the behavior of the camera lock on!

  5. This was very helpful. Changing the layout to type 2 has made my hunting and trapping so much more efficient. Your delivery here was so much more refreshing too keep doing your thing BoomStick. Sub? Why, yes thank you.

  6. I didn't dislike the video, but whatever.

When gathering materials at the end of a hunt, hold x if you're too lazy to pick out certain materials.

When browsing the forge, if you see some equipment you want, press triangle to add to your wishlist, and then in the options screen you can go over to the wishlist and see the exact amount of materials needed, even with multiple pieces of equipment any time you want.

When organizing any sort of storage or item display press R3 to auto sort.

When in the forge, you can press square to preview the equipment, this will also tell you the total defence, and apply any skills the previewed equipment may have.

And finally, don't do arena quests, EVER! They are really hard for little reward, well unless you can beat the quest within a few minutes with a predetermined set, which almost always will be worse than one you could make, and the limited amount of items they give you. But if you're going for the 50 arena quest achievement, good luck.

  7. This is exactly how you earn a like, sub, comment, whatever it may be! You present something new, not the norm that’s always around YouTube and the web. These tips dramatically changed my hunts, and I want to thank you for presenting this new info rather than saying the same old. You’ve not only earned a sub, but a constant viewer 😉

  8. forget number 11 just look into the top right corner if you need to hit the mon then the attack button has a box around it if you need to brace the box is around the brace button and same with swap positions. look at the top right while mounted not the monster!

  9. another one is that you can sharpen your weapon even while your weapon is out. and you can tranq bombs on a sleeping and weakened monster first before putting a trap(i also learned this the hard way), and it still captures the monster. you can try this and see if it really works. if it doesn't, please tell me

  10. Piggy tips: As soon as the ! appears hit O (circle for ps4 users). If you carry him around and he starts to wiggle put him down because he's found something for you.
These are great ? tips thanks a lot!

  11. A few things I didn't know, thank you. I'm still stuck on Nergigante (mostly because a betlegeuse has turned up twice while I'm trying to fight him) but I am determined to beat him on my own.

  12. Two things u shouldent forget:

Remember to save ur radials. My bro and i had confusion on our faces until he figured out that u need to save the sets WITH the customized radial menu as well

And second, when mounting, just move to another spot on the monster, that way, theres no delay in bringing the monster down quicker

And also thx for the radial set #2, helps not need the D-Pad

  13. No thumbs down from me, and the mounting tip was fine but you can just watch the buttons on the right side of the screen, it highlights either hold or move when the monsters gonna do stuff.

  14. Better advice for mounting. Every time the monster is trying to shake you off OR slams against a wall. Switch places every time. That way you can continue to hit the monster while he's still trying to shake you off. Way more efficient than holding R2 (or whichever buttom you need to press not to fall off).

  15. My tip…when fighting diablos bring screamer pods for when he burrows. Firing one above him while underground will bring it halfway out of the ground and trapped. You can even meld screamer pods. For some reason hardly anyone brings these easy to use items to a diablos fight. 12 screamers is more than enough to make any blos hunt a cakewalk.

  16. Probably the 30th comment that said this but the point of poogie is farming meal vouchers, assuming you can be fucked to pet him after every mission and manually carry him up to the handler for a 70% chance of him digging up a meal voucher
