What does 'cook it for 3 whistles in the cooker' mean? I assume you are talking about pressure cookers, but I'm not familiar with '3 whistles' as a measure of cooking duration. Could you please explain this? It may help viewers like me! 😀 Thank you for the recipe, it looks delicious!
I also prepare lauki but add only sliced onions, garlic cloves and cumin powder as spices and cook without water. You can also add friend fish to give extra zing to the curry. In the end you can add little water.
