  1. Hi Fallon…just wanted to tell you I made your Beef Stew in my Instant Pot tonight. It was easy and delish! I have had my Instant Pot almost a year and used it twice. Your videos (step by step instructions) have walked me right through your recipes. I thank you so much. Please vlog any and all your Instant Pot recipes. Keep them coming and I will get more comfortable using this wonderful but intimidating appliance. You are a great teacher!

  2. I got an Instantpot a year ago at Christmas and I'm just now experimenting with recipes. My favorites so far are baked potatoes, chicken noodle soup and sausage, peppers and onions!

  3. Boil your eggs in it… 5 min and they always peel easy! Also if making potato salad you can cook the potatoes and eggs in there together. We do our "baked potatoes " in there for like 12-15 min depending on size. Roasts are great and fast in it. I use it for everything now!

  4. I have been saying for a few months Falon needs an instant Pot. There is sooo many recipes on youtube and pinterest I always sauté my meat  to brown it in the pot then add the liquids. It can make chicken breast Fast. Everyone I know is a little intimidated by it at first. Mine sat around 2 weeks before I got up the nerve to use it. Try the Mississippi roast in it sooo good.

  5. That instapot seems cool! I wonder if you could add cornstarch to thicken it up a little? Girl you can't have no meal plan when Titus wants taco Tuesday every day of the week lol lol lol lol oh yea I seen a recipe on pintrest for taco pasta salad & I think y'all would really like it. I would love to see you & Titus make it one day. Lol 🙂

  6. I love that you shared a recipe using the Instant pot. I have yet to try mine. I also love how you all cook & love onions as much as I do. Awesome video!! Thanks for sharing!!! ???

  7. That looked very tasty! Gland "your friend" sent you a new instapot, the other one should not have stopped working already! I know your birthday is coming up but I can't remember the date! Would you be willing to share it please? ♥️?? thank you ?

  8. The instructions that come with the Instant Pot are horrible. I always end up having to just wing it and figure it out on my own. That takes time (which the pot is supposed to save, right?), so I love watching videos for cooking ideas instead. Keep them coming! 🙂

  9. I saw some of your cleaning products in the background early on in the video. They look like some I have that I got from the grove collabrative. Do you order from there also? I just got my first order and i am already in love. LOL! Yes I am in love with cleaning products. lol

  10. I love my instant pot! Much better flavor if you will brown your beef on the “saute” setting first, then add liquid to deglaze pan. Then add other items and set to pressure. Also make a cornstarch slurry to add before serving to thicken slightly.

  11. Nice! I got one for Christmas and I've used it once so far to make pinto beans. They cooked perfectly, but were not very tasty because I didn't add any seasoning or anything. What did you cook yours with? I'm new to cooking beans from dried. Usually just open a can. 🙂

  12. Omg'sh, Falon, I was going to order you an Instant Pot for your Birthday! Lol Glad I hadn't yet, because it wouldn't be cute getting 3 of those. Hahahaha ? I've been using electric pressure cookers for yrs, and I have 3 different ones, but only use one..lol I add in thickener for that last round of pressure. I use, "Clear Jel," because it's used a lot in canning, and can take the high heat. But you can use flour or cornstarch too. I'm sure you know what I mean.lol Sounds yummy!!?

  13. Yay! That looks great! My brother gave me an Instant Pot for Christmas, and I was so excited and grateful, but I'm a little intimidated by it! So excited to see you use it! May I ask what size is yours? I still have to try mine out…

  14. WOW…..that was nice of your friend. I bought one at Walmart at least 5 months ago and it sat unopened, until I returned it 3 weeks ago. Got all my money back….$79.00 + tax. It was an impulse purchase. That's how I tend to do things. After seeing you using yours, it makes me kind of wish I'd kept it. Beef stew looked delicious…….Sherry

  15. Fallon, you reminded me of a story I had forgotten about. When I was a little girl growing up in rural Missouri in the early 70's we came home from school one day and our neighbors across the gravel road from us had a hog lot with about 200 head of hogs in there and there were about 10 of the out in the road. They lived a ways away and we were always right there so we worked in the wet cold and mud of that fall evening till dark getting all of them in. When we got in the house (old farm house) Mom had Beef Stew and corn bread for supper for it. It was the best tasting meal I'd ever eaten. Good job girl! Next time add a cap of Kitchen Boutique and a corn starch slurry to thicken it after the veggies are done and just bring it to boil with the lid off and you're going to double love it. The extra broth from your stew would be excellent to freeze and make beef and noodles with!!! A tip for the ginger root is to peel it and put it in lots of plastic wrap to protect it and put it in the freezer and it will last a really long time. Take it out and cut or grate it while frozen. Put the rest back in the freezer for another time.

  16. That looks good. I need to get back to using my Instant pot. I do like to thicken my broth a little bit so it's more like gravy. My husband works shift work and is off for 7 days each month. Everytime he's off my meal planning falls to the wayside. Every. Single. Time. So I totally feel ya girl!

  17. I don't have an instant pot, but I have a pressure cooker and I love it. I always thicken my beef stew with a slurry of cornstarch and water, or flour and water after you bring the pressure down the second time. Yours looked delicious!
