  1. 1. You don't put salt on eggs or meat when cooking it. It dries it out and draws out water – unless that is what you want.

    2. Onions, peppers, and carrots are not considered low carb. Also, tomato is not considered low carb. So, tomato based things can rack up carbs. The 1st one was probably not as keto as it could have been – I would need sour cream or bleu cheese. Otherwise, these seem like interesting recipes.

I find dietdoctor to be very helpful in regards to keto.

  2. This is ALMOST right. The choice of oil is crucial. Extra virgin olive oil, extra virgin coconut oil, avocado oil, and any oil from a nut is fine to use, but nothing else. Food manufacturers love to try to fool you, by putting on a label "Organic Canola Oil". If it's not in the list, don't use it. Those other oils play havoc with your body and can cause inflammation. Peanuts are not true nuts, so no peanut oil either. Also, cooking carrots turns them into a starchy vegetable, which is not allowed on keto. Plus, make sure that the shredded cheese has no maltodextrin. That is added to some shredded cheese so that it won't stick together, and that adds sugar. Other than that, good recipes.

  5. These are all things I would eat on keto. But, I would replace or leace out certain ingredients since some are not keto friendly. All I ate for almost 2 months was eggs, meat, and letuce. Mostly meat and eggs for the fat and protein. Best time of my life.

  6. isnt this just healthy eating with vegies n that? wtf with all the fancy names n way to help control different diseases? just eat healthy n its good…. dont need any facy diets or what ever else…..

  7. Keto is achieved by consuming 20 or less carbohydrates per day…
One bell pepper alone has 6 carbs. So 3 bell pepper halves plus an onion puts you at roughly 12-15 carbs already in one meal. Add in the salsa and you're probably already at 20 in one meal alone. Then in the next slide you're adding cherry tomatoes and lettuce? This is either a lack of common sense or having no basis on research or facts whatsoever. You are spreading misinformation. Do you know how many poor fools will probably follow these recipes and think they're hitting ketosis?
