Recipe for Butterscotch Apples

Butterscotch Apples

Ingredients

.....6 medium apples
.....1 cup sugar
.....2 tablespoons flour
.....1 cup water
.....3 tablespoons butter
.....Pinch of salt
.....2 teaspoons vanilla
.....Cinnamon to taste
.....12 marshmallows

Preparation

Peel, core and halve apples; place in baking dish. Mix sugar, flour and water in saucepan; cook, stirring until thickened. Add butter, salt and vanilla. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon; pour sauce over apples.

Bake at 375 degrees until apples are tender. Place marshmallows on apples; bake until marshmallows are melted.
